Well the time has come to move our embroidery department to a bigger space! We have out grown the room in which we started thanks to all of our customers old and new. So on Monday 22nd and Tuesday 23rd of August 2011 we are moving the machines to their new home, a bigger room with lots more storage for material and baby gifts!

This does however mean that there will be no embroidery orders done on either of those two days sadly; it will take a day or two to get them all moved and set back up again. Any orders made on Monday and Tuesday 22nd and 23rd of August will be processed on the 23rd August, this will result in slightly longer delivery times than normal for the coming week.

We are sorry for any inconvenience this causes to our customers and will work very hard to keep any delays to a minimum.

School holidays are nearly over; I believe Scotland will be back before England, its goes so fast. I really feel Like we have only just go used to the children being around and now we are rushing about getting uniforms to go back again! But how expensive is that! Even though we are an embroidery company first and foremost the schools seem to have a knack of having uniform which is made just for them, so even I can't buy it from a supplier and embroider the logo and save money.

But still, I love to make our personalised baby gifts too much to give it up for school embroidery, there is still something so special about making a gift that's going to a new little person.

Of course the next big expense on the horizon will be (sorry to mention it in August!) Christmas. Yes you can run but you can’t hide from the fact that it is only just over 4 months away now. So for us it’s time to organise that personalised Christmas gifts section with this year’s offerings. As always the most popular gifts will be those for babies 1st Christmas hotly followed by the personalised Santa sacks.

Over the next couple of weeks we will be adding lots more Christmas baby gifts to the site ready for the big day, so that come September we will be ready for those of you who like to spread the cost of Christmas and shop that little bit earlier.

I have great intentions every year of being totally organised for Christmas by the end of October, but it never happens, somehow I get caught up with other things and then WHAM, before it know it it's December and I'm rushing again!
