Giving personalised baby gifts shows the extra effort you have put into choosing your gift, which will become a treasured keepsake forever in the life of your special little person.  Naming a baby is one of the most challenging first tasks for any parent; a name stays with you forever and represents who you are as a person. So buying one of our newborn baby gifts from our huge selection of baby gift ideas, is maybe the most special gift you will chose in the new arrivals lifetime. At Gooseberry Bush Gifts, we have been doing a little research into the weird and wonderful world of celebrity baby names, if you’re having a baby it may give you some inspiration!  Here are our top 6.

1) LOURDES. French
The most famous use for this name was when Madonna and Carlos Leon picked this out for their daughter, who was born in 1996. Dense with meaning it signifies the miracle of healing attributed to this French city where the Virgin Mary reportedly appeared in 1858 as a young girl.

2) AVA. Latin and Iranian
This name originates from the Latin meaning ‘like a bird'. It also has Iranian roots where it means ‘breathe of life’. Melissa Rycroft chose this name for her little one in 2011.

3) EASTON. English
Easton is mainly used in the English language and is derived from the Old English meaning which is  quite simply - eastern town.

4) SURI. Hebrew
Famously selected by Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise for their up and coming style icon daughter back in 2006. It quite appropriately means ‘princess’. In Persian it means ‘red rose’. A very lovely and appropriate name for a pretty little girl. We have lots of beautiful personalised baby gifts for little girls that will make you gush!

5) SHILLOH. Hebrew
This name is Hebrew in origin and means ‘his gift’ and ‘peace’. It was also the site of a crucial battle in the American Civil War. Brad Pitt and his long standing partner Angelina Jolie named their first biological daughter this, to add to their ever growing ‘rainbow family’.

6) JADEN. Hebrew
It is said that when Will Smith and Jada Pinkett chose this for their son in 1998, they picked it mainly because it sounded very much like Jada Pinkett’s own name. It is derived from the name Aidan, which means enjoying popularity – which given his parents celebrity, this child will likely experience a lot of this!

The common saying ‘its all in a name’ is so true. Your name is your label and that’s why our personalised baby gifts are so popular. Take a look at our beautiful selection of unique gifts today and make that first gift as special as you possibly can.
